A seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Benny has created a niche for his ability to navigate complex challenges through effective conflict and dispute resolution, relationship management, and collaborative problem solving.
His strength lies in his deep understanding of human dynamics and his capacity to build trust across individuals, organizations, and communities, a skill that continues to shape his approach to development and governance.
Before joining the Foundation, Benny served as the Special Adviser on Revenue, Jobs, and Wealth Creation to the Executive Chairman of Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA. In this role, he also headed the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Unit, where he played a critical role in strengthening ties between government institutions and the private sector. Through strategic partnerships and innovative policy frameworks, he championed initiatives that created employment opportunities, enhanced local enterprise, and enabled overall community wellbeing.
At the time of his appointment as Special Adviser, he became the youngest-ever member of the Executive Cabinet across all 57 Local Government Areas and LCDA’s in Lagos State, a feat he carries with a deep sense of humility.

He is an alumnus of Igbinedion University, Okada, and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, graduating with Second Class Upper Honours from both institutions.
Beyond his public service contributions, he is a Senior Associate at Iyke Echie & Co. (Legal Practitioners & Investment Attorneys), where he continues to advance legal practice and policy development with a focus on integrity, innovation, and sustainable impact.
